Additionally, the Fire category is a new business area, featuring a top project worth $17 million: the relocation of the Central Fire Station.
The City of Bloomington, Illinois, has three notable line items valued at over $10 million. The largest line item is the Central Fire Station, worth $17 million, under the Fire category. The project includes relocating fire station #3 to the northeast of the city to better handle current and future call volumes. The other two line items belong to the Department of Operations & Engineering Services: Hamilton Road: Bunn Street to Morrissey Drive, worth $17 million, and Fox Creek Road Bridge & Road Improvements: Danbury to Beich Road, worth $16 million.
