Did you know.... that the planned Harris County Federal Flood Risk Management Project is valued at $295 million?

 

A Little More...The Progressive Design Build project is part of bonds valued at $2.5 billion for flood damage reduction projects. The project is in partnership between the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, the Harris County Flood Control District, Galveston County, Brazoria Drainage District #4, and the City of Pearland.  The construction ideas include conveyance improvements, stormwater detention basins, bridge replacements, and environmental enhancements. The project will be advertised for progressive design-build bids in Summer 2021.
