Summary: The Brent Spence Bridge is a major thoroughfare for both local and national traffic, connecting two states that are critical to the movement of people, goods, and services. It is part of a nationally-recognized corridor for freight and interstate travel that covers eight miles from the Western Hills Viaduct in Ohio to Dixie Highway in Kentucky. The Brent Spence Bridge is a double decker, cantilevered truss bridge that carries Interstates 71 and 75 across the Ohio River between Covington, Kentucky and Cincinnati, Ohio. The top deck carries Kentucky-bound traffic while the bottom deck carries Ohio-bound traffic. Project will be delivered via design-build procurement led by ODOT. Estimated value of the project is $1.2 billion, with a projected letting date at the beginning of May 2023.
Organization: City of Austin Water, Texas
Summary: This project will expand the plant to treat and discharge an annual average daily flow of 100 million gallons per day (MGD) and a 2-hour peak flow of 300 MGD from75 MGD with a 2-hour peak flow of 165 MGD. Estimated value of the project is $750 million, with the letting date in March 2023.
Organization: State of Louisiana Department of Transportation & Development
Summary: A Feasibility and Environmental Study will be done for the above mentioned project in Calcasieu parish. The bridge is projected to be nearly 9.4 miles long. As noted in the files, the bridge project is estimated at over $500 million. Projected letting date is in April 2023.
Organization: Los Angeles Department of Water and Power, California
Summary: Project involves designing and construction of a new district yard in Van Nuys. Project is estimated at almost $647 million, with a projected letting date of May 2023.
