In the CIP covering the 2025-2029 fiscal years, the city of Hialeah detailed plans to spend $210 million on capital projects, an increase of 56% from $135 million in its 2024-2028 CIP. Major Budget Increases for Building and Streets/Stormwater in City of Hialeah
Planned spending showed a significant overall increase of 56%, with notable budget hikes in the Building and Streets/Stormwater categories. These increases were for notable projects, including the New Building Department and Public Safety Complex (Construction Phase) project, valued at $33 million, and the Roadway & Drainage Improvements - SE 8 to 9 Ave, Hialeah Dr to 4 St (Construction) project, valued at $10 million. Other business areas, such as the Public Works and Fleet Maintenance categories, also saw substantial growth. However, some areas experienced major reductions, including the Library, 911 Communications, and General Government categories.

The city of Hialeah, Florida, has three notable line items valued at over $10 million. The most significant line item is the New Building Department and Public Safety Complex (Construction Phase) project, valued at $33 million, under the Building category. Other notable line items include:
