Major Increases Across Business Areas in Jefferson Parish
Almost all business areas increased. The most significant increase goes to the Water category due to the East Bank Plant Upgrade, which increased by $129 million in the recent period. Similarly, the Street category experienced a 132% increase, propelled by the new Metairie Ave between Causeway Blvd & David Drive project. Lastly, the Drainage category saw an increase driven by existing projects.
Jefferson Parish Announces Multi-Million Dollar Investments in Critical Infrastructure Projects
Jefferson Parish has one notable line valued at over $100 million and one at over $10 million. The largest line item is the East Bank Plant Upgrade, worth $133 million, under the Water category. Another $17 million is also planned for the West Metairie Ave between Causeway Blvd & David Drive, under the Street category.
