Did you know... that the San Bernardino County Transportation Authority (SBCTA) has accepted the RFQ to build the Ontario Airport Loop Project, a major transportation infrastructure project?
A little more... The Boring Company was the only company to respond to the RFQ to build a 4 mile tunnel connecting Rancho Cucamonga Metrolink station to the Ontario International Airport (ONT). This project is expected to cost around $85 million and will connect the busiest Metrolink line to the fastest growing airport in the nation.
Last month, the Board awarded the Construction Management contract to HNTB. The project will hopefully be completed within 2 years. The cost of this project will be significantly more affordable than making an above ground rail or light rail connection.
