Did you know... that the Arizona Department of Transportation Board awarded the I-15 Virgin River Bridge No. 1 Project to Kiewit Infrastructure West?
A little more... On January 15th, The Arizona Department of Transportation Board awarded the project to Kiewit Infrastructure West Co. in the amount of $55,994,446. Work began back in 2014 on rehabilitation, repair, and replacement of the I-15 Virgin River bridges. Kiewit Infrastructure West Co. will be replacing the existing bridge structure as the final major project to improve the Arizona section of this vital transportation corridor. The existing bridge will be replaced with a three-span, steel girder superstructure with new substructure. The work will also include matching the existing roadway to the new structure. New pavement, pavement markings, guardrail and signage also are included in the project.
